She has a lot of energy and she loves to make laps in the back yard while the other dogs chase her around.

Background:
We gave birth to Minnie in December of 2019. She was adopted to a family with her sister Belle at around eight weeks. After about one year with them, Minnie was not getting along well with their older dog, so she was returned to us so we could find a better fit. Although she lived with two other dogs, we found her to be lacking in confidence and socialization needed to meet some new dogs. This is something we have been working on and luckily our pets are very experienced so she fit right in with us. Since being with us, she loves our pups and they have lots of fun playing, lounging around, and chewing on bones. She is very affectionate and loves to sleep with us at night.
Current Status:
Available for adoption. Minnie is fully vetted and ready to meet her new family. She is very sweet and has lots of happy energy to give. She is especially receptive to smaller and/or young dogs - with many mother-like tendencies. She also does well with larger dogs that are calm during introductions.
Here's a secret -- she's one of our favorites

Gender Male
Known Alias Thorson Welles
Potty Trained? Yes
Crate Trained? Yes

Personal History

Petty Theft of Chew Toys
-
Public Urination
Background:
Thor was born into the rescue when we took in his mom Hazel.. He was adopted as a puppy for about a year but started to have conflict with their older dog. Thor has been living back in the rescue for about a year now. He is naturally very curious, loyal and obedient with no training, but he is a high-energy dog. It has been our observation that the source of his conflicts with other dogs has not been from aggression but from unspent energy and becoming far too rambunctious. So Thor will need consistent stimulation and training even if he is an only dog, but it will be greatly rewarded.
Current Status:
Available for adoption. Thor is in great health and ready to be a part of his new family.

Personal History
Criminal Record:

Trespassing On the Couch

Disturbing the Peace
Background:
We took Eva in as an old lady with heartworms hoping to treat them. Unfortunately, heartworm treatment can be taxing on the body and between her age and having a lung condition it is too risky to treat. Despite her physical issues, Eva is a very happy and well-rounded dog otherwise. She does great meeting new people and animals. She currently lives in harmony at her foster home with a big shepherd/pit mix, a pomeranian and a very grumpy cat.
Current Status:
Available for adoption. If you are looking for a quiet and gentle dog Eva is the perfect choice, but it comes with the acceptance that she likely only has a couple more good years left.
