Personal History

Criminal Record:

  • Disorderly Conduct

Background:

We gave birth to Minnie in December of 2019. She was adopted to a family with her sister Belle at around eight weeks. After about one year with them, Minnie was not getting along well with their older dog, so she was returned to us so we could find a better fit. Although she lived with two other dogs, we found her to be lacking in confidence and socialization needed to meet some new dogs. This is something we have been working on and luckily our pets are very experienced so she fit right in with us. Since being with us, she loves our pups and they have lots of fun playing, lounging around, and chewing on bones. She is very affectionate and loves to sleep with us at night.

Current Status:

Available for adoption. Minnie is fully vetted and ready to meet her new family. She is very sweet and has lots of happy energy to give. She is especially receptive to smaller and/or young dogs - with many mother-like tendencies. She also does well with larger dogs that are calm during introductions.

Personal History

Criminal Record:

  • Trespassing on the Couch

  • Solicitation of Belly Rubs

Background:

Mocha is an old girl who we suspect was used for breeding. We took her in a few months ago and have got her all up to date on her vaccines, but we also discovered that she is heartworm positive. We are currently raising funds for her heartworm treatment. She doesn't have good social skills with other dogs but her current foster has slowly integrated her with their golden retriever and the cat. She is best buds with the two young toddlers.

Current Status:

Available for adoption. Sunny Pits will provide heartworm treatment for her and will see it through to the end even if she is adopted prior to completing her treatment. She is in need of late life care, but that doesn't mean she isn't still full of life. She doesn't have much socialization with other dogs but it can be done with enough patience and caution. She is extremely sweet and affectionate towards the people she meets.
